Methodology

Quality Assurance (QA)

Quality Assurance (QA) encompasses the overall management system, which involves effective planning and selection of experienced local field enumerators. It includes training field researchers, implementing robust data collection processes and protocols, and applying quality control measures. Additionally, QA involves documentation systems and reporting activities for the assignment work. This system provides information that confirms the data's quality and evaluates whether it meets the project's requirements.

Quality Control (QC)

Quality Control (QC) exercise constitutes routine technical activities that are in place to control errors in data collection. Since errors can occur at any stage in the process, QC will be strictly followed at each stage of the study. QC will include both internal and external measures. QC ensures ‘data confidence’ as it helps to validate the authenticity and robustness of the data collected by the enumerators.
